The reported problem – the violence against children

The grandmother of a child subjected to domestic violence approached the People’s Advocate Office. She pointed out that during the state of emergency, she increasingly notices bruises on her nephew’s body, who is brought to her by the child’s parents, when they go to work.

Reaction of the People’s Advocate Office:

The PAO representatives notified the General Police Inspectorate (GPI) about this case, requesting their intervention to verify the signal and take appropriate action. The case will be further monitored by the PAO, and, if necessary, steps will be taken to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
