The problem of remuneration of employees’ work during the emergency regime

The problem of remuneration of employees’ work during the emergency regime:

More and more employees, as well as employers in the private sector, officials from several public institutions are addressing to the People’s Advocate Office requesting consultations regarding the remuneration of work during the emergency regime. More frequently, such questions are called upon by the heads of the pre-school and educational institutions (Comrat).

Even though MHLSPF have made recommendations regarding the remuneration of the employees in the education system, there are not very clear regulations in this regard. Given that the pedagogues have moved to remote activity, it is assumed that they will be paid 100%. It is not clear how the educators and other employees who for various reasons cannot perform their professional duties will be paid. Also, the employees of the PAO Representation in Comrat are notified that many employees are forced to apply for paid or unpaid leave, which violates labour law.

The problem in question is being examined by the PAO.
